You've recorded your songs and you're looking for a mixing engineer who understands modern rock? With online mixing, you upload your tracks and I mix and master your song at my studio in Hattingen, Germany. The vocals stay clear, the guitars hit hard, the drums have punch. It works for bands and solo artists anywhere in the world, without you having to come to the studio.
Online mixing for bands who record themselves
You've already recorded your tracks in the rehearsal room, your own home studio, or another studio? That's exactly where Mixing & Mastering comes in: you upload your tracks, and I turn them into the finished sound – without you having to come to Hattingen.
This works for newcomer bands with their first single just as well as for established artists with a full album. Most Overstage projects run exactly this way: location-independent, worldwide, with clear feedback rounds via the Overstage portal.

File Reception
You send us your tracks according to our guidelines.

Mixdown
Once all files have been checked and prepared, we start the mixdown.

LIVE Session
Shortly after the mixdown begins, you're warmly invited to join the fine-tuning of the song live online and give direct feedback. Your satisfaction is virtually guaranteed!

Mastering
Once the mixdown is complete, mastering begins.

Revisions
After the master is finished, you'll receive your song. If you're still not fully satisfied with something, you still have 2 more revisions.

Finalization
Once you're completely happy with your song, you'll receive the final master as a .wav file.
Online mixing FAQ
You record your songs yourself, in your rehearsal room, home studio or another studio, and upload the individual tracks. I mix and master the song at my studio in Hattingen. You can listen to every mix version in the Overstage portal and leave feedback right at the spot in the song.
Every track as its own WAV file, all starting at the same point. You'll get the exact requirements in our guidelines before you upload.
Yes. Shortly after the mixdown starts, I'll invite you to a live session. You can follow the fine-tuning online in real time and give feedback directly.
After the finished master you have two revisions. Once you're happy, you receive the final master as a WAV file.
Every project is different, so there is no flat rate. Send us your project, demos and budget via the contact form. We'll clarify the scope in a free initial call, and then you'll get a quote.
Once your tracks are in, the mix of a song is ready within a few working days. For several songs or a full album, we'll agree on the schedule together in the initial call.
The focus is on modern rock and metalcore as well as (pop) rock. Aranđel Akovic has been mixing and producing for newcomer bands and established artists since 2017.
Yes. Distance doesn't matter, most Overstage projects are done remotely. We can talk in German or English.
